Have you experienced a delay above three hours?
Travellers who are affected by delayed flights are countless, specially in the summer when tourists add up to people that fly for business. You’re entitled to get compensation if the flight arrives more than 3 hours late and it’s the airline’s fault. As shocking as it sounds, the number of people who request a compensation is very limited.
How much is your compensation?
| Flights 1,500 km or less | 250 € |
| Flights between 1,500 and 3,500 km | 400 € |
| Flights over 3,500 km | 600 € |
You can request a compensation when:
- You arrive at your final destination 3 hours later than planned. Based on the Air Passenger Rights (EU Regulation 261/2004) air passengers are entitled to a monetary compensation between 250 and 600 € based on the distance travelled
- The flight departs from an EU country including UK, regardless the airline’s nationality
- You arrive in a EU country including UK travelling on a flight operated by an European airline
- You are an EU citizen
- You are a non-EU citizen
- You are a UK citizen
More than 80% of air passenger don’t claim their compensation
Why air passengers don’t claim the compensation
DON’T KNOW THEIR RIGHTS
Although airlines should be transparent and inform passengers about their rights, the reality is that air passengers are not made aware about their rights.
DON’T KNOW HOW TO CLAIM IT
Even the most committed air passengers sometimes give up because the process can be complicated and confusing.
PREFER TO MOVE ON OR FORGET
Who wants to spend time on the phone with a help line once arrived on destination? Sun, food, fun or just the desire to relax make air passengers forget about the delay easily.
Our job is to help you to get your compensation
